The INTERREG IIIC Programme is dedicated
to interregional cooperation, whose aim is establishing
relations and encouraging exchanges of experience and good
practices between regions of all EU Members States.
The Interreg IIIC introduced a new way of cooperation between local authorities:
RFO (Regional Framework Operation).
The RFO Partners consist in different European countries which offer financial
resources to local authorities (Municipality, Province, Territorial and Research
bodies) in order to draft projects in collaboration with other partners belonging
to the European Region.
This overall framework allows to share, transfer and apply
technical know-how and to develop new and innovative solutions
for common problems. Through meetings a wide dissemination
of outputs and results achieved under this RFO is ensured.
