On October 10th and 11th, the splendid Antonino Salinas Archaeological Museum provided the framework for the 6th ProgreSDEC Technical Meeting and Steering Committee. Representatives from the project consortium included, beyond of course the Leading Partner Latium Region, the Piedmonte and Sicilian regions from Italy, The Regions of Western and Central Macedonia in Greece, the Govierno de Navarra and the Comunidad de Madrid from Spain, and the research centre IRS located in Berlin.

On October 12th, following the ProgreSDEC project meeting and Sub-project workshop, an international seminar was held on the there: “Experimenting Territorial Innovation: Capitalising on the ProgreSDEC Experience”. This seminar aimed to confron the experiences gained in the ProgreSDEC Sub-projects, considered as “strategic territorial laboratories” governed by the inter-regional framework operation network, in terms of the key issues currently facing regional planning.

The first day of the meeting: Experimenting Territorial Innovation – Capitalising on the PROGRESDEC Experience, which was held in Palermo on the 12th and the 13th of October 2007, was dedicated to the so-called Sub-project Workshop.
This workshop has been conceived as a first outcome and an overview of the Progresdec experience. The lead partner of each sub-project was asked to answer some questions regarding his own project and specifically: which are the results, which are the tools, which are the chances of innovation, which are the future perspectives?.

The final meeting of Colore project took place the 19th and 20th November near the centre of the University Pole of Vecchiarelli Palace in Rieti. At the meeting all representatives of the involved partners took part: Comunitad Alto Jarama (Spain), Commune of Novi Ligure, Diadyma Sa (Greece), Province of Ragusa and the Province of Rieti (project leader), with the support of the University Roma3 DipSU and the presence of the representatives of the University "La Sapienza " of Rome and of BIC Lazio.
